Much more than I have had before. In college, I met a Native American, a sweet guy, and he taught me a lot about the native American culture and how similar it was to the Hmong culture. I met a Thai person, very interesting, she was married to one of my advisors, who had spent two or three years in Thailand where he had met her. We have become good friends. I also met several Caucasians who taught me many more things about their cultural than what I knew before. I also met a foreign exchange student who was Japanese, who was just wonderful at teaching us about her culture. I feel more culturally sensitive and knowledgeable now.
