SYNOPSIS: Among the 56 tribes of China, the Miao tribe is famous for having the most festival celebrations. The traditional cave burial is no longer held today; however, the traditional wood drum dance has been successful brought to the international performing stage. Guizhou Province’s southeast village of Fang Pai organized the grand Guzang Festival, after a long gap of 50 years period. After worshipping their ancestors, the ox is slaughtered.
